Itinerary: Bishkek – Shamshy Gorge – Tuyuk – Kol-Tor Lake – Kegety Gorge – Bishkek

Description: Adventures trekking tour with tent camping trail through the hidden valley and open meadows in the foothills of Kyrgyz Range Mountains during this tour you will have possibility to ride a horse for few hours from Shamshy Gorge as an extra. For many years, horses played a great role for nomads as a wing of nomads and shepherd’s people. You will meet local shepherds on the trail to see their local customs and traditions. Enjoy unique, untouched nature, mountains, lake, Mountain Rivers, forests of fir-trees and etc.

Itinerary

Package of 4 days

Day 1

Bishkek – Shamshy Gorge

Meeting in Bishkek and transfer to Smashy Gorge (120 km, 2 hrs). On the way excursion to Burana Tower (X-XI cen). Lunch in Yurt Inn. Afternoon hiking in the fir-tree forest and enjoy nature. Dinner and accommodation in Mountain Guest House in fir tree forest. Meals: lunch, dinner.

Day 2

Shamshy Gorge – Tuyuk

After breakfast start trekking towards Tuyik Kol-Tor mountain lake (2733 m) along Tuyuk river which forms Shamshy river. Trekking time: 5-6 hrs. Overnight stay in tent at the altitude of 2250 m.

Meals: full board.

Day 3

Tuyuk – Kol Tor Lake

Trekking up to the Kol-Tor mountain lake (2733 m) via mountain range Ketse Kelbes with deep slopes. In this area you can see herd of Goats amd many other animals which can be seen in high mountains only. Also, Kol -Tor Lake will be seen from the peak of the mountain range and it will get closer when you trekking down to the lake. Picnic lunch. Enjoy magnificent mountain lake view and nature. Trekking time: 5-6 hrs. Overnight in tent.

Meals: full board.

Day 4

Kol-Tor Lake – Kegety Gorge – Bishkek

Breakfast. Trekking down to Kegety Gorge (1350 m) along the Kol-Tor river and massive forests. Reach to Kegety Mountain Guest House where your driver will you to drive you to Bishkek, 2 hrs of driving.

Drop off in Bishkek. End of the service. Meals: breakfast, lunch.
