Itinerary

Arrive Kashgar. Meet your local guide and driver. Transfer to hotel. Check-in. Rest. Free day. Overnight at hotel.

Breakfast. Kashgar is a historical and cultural city in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.you'll watch the The gate opening ceremony that combines folk music, dance and other elements into a unique performance. Then visit the ancient of Kashgar. 500-year-old remnants of the city wall, narrow lanes and colorful multi-ethnic crowds combine to make Kashgar's historic district a highlight of any visit to the city. Then we'll visit Abakh Khoja Tomb which is a tiled mausoleum holding the tomb of Abakh Khoja, who is a revered sufi preacher and political leader in the 17th century. finally, we'll visit Id Kah Mosque. This 15th century mosque is one of the largest and busiest in China. At midday on Fridays around 10,000 people will gather to pray and study the Koran, and prayer 5 times/day on other days. You'll be asked to remove your shoes before entering the Main Hall, which has traditional Islamic pillars, carvings and rugs strewn over the floors. Women are adviced to cover upper arms and legs, a scarf is not compulsory, but is seen as a mark of respect. This is a must visit place for tourist in Kashgar. Overnight at hotel.

Breakfast. Drive to Kala-Kule Lake which is located 200 km southeast of Kashgar, Karakuli Lake is a sparking glacial lake located at the foot of "the Father of Glaciers" – Muztagata Mountains. A railway connecting China with Pakistan goes by the lake. The lake is famous for its beautiful scenery and clarity. Colors of its water range from light to dark under reflection. Back to Kashgar. Overnight at hotel.

Breakfast. Transfer to the border (Irkeshtam Pass), you’ll cross the border on your own and enter Kyrgyzstan. The drive takes about 5 hrs(please notice that the border closed on weekends and public holidays).

Meet Kyrgyz guide and driver on the Kyrgyz-China border Irkeshtam. Transfer to Sary-Tash village along Pamir highway. You will be driven along the winding road of the high Pamirs and reach Sary-Tash (70KM). It is a small village but an important crossroads between Osh, Kashgar, Murghab, and Sary Mogol. From there, you can get a spectacular view of Lenin Peak. You will stay in a local guesthouse overnight.

After breakfast, you will be driven to Osh (186KM) through the picturesque mountain route. You will stop at Taldyk Pass, the Kyzyl-Suu River, and Chyiyrchyk Pass to take pictures and enjoy the breathtaking view of the mountains and rivers.

After arriving in Osh sightseeing, visit Sulaiman-Too, Central Mosque, Osh Bazaar. Check-in hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast. Check out from hotel. Morning transfer to Airport for flight to Bishkek.

Meet your local guide and driver at the Airport and transfer to Bishkek. On the way grab a cup of coffee in Bishkek and transfer to the “Ala-Archa National Park” (walking 1-1,5 hours). Ala-Archa it is an alpine national park in the Tian Shan Mountains. The Park, which includes the gorge of the Ala-Archa River and the mountains surrounding.

Transfer to Bishkek for lunch.

Breakfast. Transfer to Burana tower, this is cultural complex of X-XI AD where you can go up to the top of tower (minaret) where will be seen all local area and visit local museum and Balbals (Stone warriors) and petroglyphs.

Lunch on the way. Continue drive to second largest mountain lake in the world (1600m), Issyk-Kul Lake.

Boating 1 hour. Check-in to the beach resort on the North shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. Overnight at the resort.

Breakfast. Free time on the beach. Check out.

In Cholpon-Ata visit Issyk-Kul petroglyphs, ancient stone inscriptions (dating back to 800 B.C.).

Drive to Bishkek.

Upon arrival visit Famous Osh bazar.

Transfer to Manas International Airport for evening flight to Almaty (KC110 dept 20:05 arr 20:55). Meet your local guide and transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Almaty sightseeing: Panfilov Park, Zenkov Cathedral, Museum of Musical Instrument, Memorial complex devoted to the World War Two and with eternal flame, Green Bazaar – a place where you can buy souvenirs, central Republic Square with three main symbols of Kazakhstan and Obelisk devoted to the independence.

After lunch visit State Museum of Kazakhstan and Kok-Tobe green hill.  Enjoy amazing view of Almaty. Overnight at hotel

Transfer to Airport for flight to Dushanbe (KC 131dept 11:25 arr 12:15). Meet your guide and driver at the airport and drive you to a local restaurant for lunch.

Dushanbe sightseeing:

You will visit the beautiful and modern National Museum of Tajikistan to get an overview of the nation's long and complex history. It was built with an elliptical roof and giant atrium. Outside the museum, you will find the sculpture of Cyrus the Great along with many other sculptures. There are three must-sees there: the murals from ancient Panjakent and Sarazm, the 10th-century wooden mihrab, which is a masterpiece of wood carving, and a replica of a 13-meter-long reclining Buddha (to see the real one, you can visit the National Museum of Antiquities instead).

Then, you will walk along the pathways in the extensive Rudaki Park and enjoy the beautiful canopy of mature trees and flower gardens alongside lakes and fountains.

Overnight at hotel

Breakfast. Depart early in the morning and start your journey from Dushanbe to Samarkand. You will pass Iskander-Kul Lake (135KM), which has another name - the Lake of Alexander the Great. Listen to your local guide tell the story about how the lake got this name.

After you arrive in Penjikent (150KM), you will visit the Penjikent Ancient Settlement, which are the ruins of old Sogdian town. From there, you can still find a citadel with two Zoroastrian fire temples, extensive yards, workshops, markets, and the foundations of houses. You will be surprised to see the picturesque and colorful wall paintings that have survived for over 1,300 years in ruins.

Then drive to the Uzbekistan-Tajikistan border. After dealing with the border pass formalities, which will take about an hour, you will continue driving to Samarkand (62 KM) with your new guide and driver. Overnight at hotel

Breakfast. Sightseeing in the Capital of Great Empire of Tamerlane, the place which attracted Alexander the Great, Marco Polo, and other visitors of the world.

Transfer to railway station. Take high-speed train Afrosiyob, to Bukhara departing at 08:08, arriving at 10:46. Upon arrival transfer to hotel for baggage drop.

After lunch start tour in Bukhara. Explore one of the gems of Islamic architecture, the center of Mediaeval Islamic Education. Tour includes visits to:

-             Kalon Complex consisting of Minaret, Mir-Arab Madrasah, and Mosque,

-             Madrasah Of Ulugbek, and Madrasah of Abdul-Aziz khan,

-             Trade domes, and Magoki – Attor mosque,

-             Lyabi – Khauz complex: Nadir Divan Begi Madrasah and Khanaka; Kukeldash Madrasah; 

Lunch and dinner at local restaurant.

Enjoy evening national folk show at Nadir Devonbegi Madrasah. Overnight at hotel

After breakfast, you will travel to Khiva (450KM) through the Kyzylkum Desert during a long drive of over 7 hours.

You will have the chance to visit the Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa complex on the way. It was known as being the summer residence of Bukhara's last Emir.

You will arrive in Khiva in the late afternoon and enjoy the rest of the day on your own.

Khiva, which is more than 2500 years old, is a museum-like city of the ancient Khwarazm, colorful and barely touched by humans, it is a true example of a medieval city in Middle East.

Sightseeing in Khiva: Pakhlavan Mahmoud Complex, Kunya-Ark Fortress, Islam Hajji Madrasah & Minaret, Tash Khauli Alakuli Khan Palace, Juma Mosque, Muhammadaminkhan Minaret & Madrasah. Visiting the souvenir shops and workshops. Overnight at the hotel. 

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan border, Shavat-Dashoguz (60KM). After the border formalities have been completed (about 1? hours) you will walk through the 1.5-kilometer neutral zone (transportation is not available) and meet your guide and driver from Turkmenistan. They will drive you to the Darwaza Gas Crater (also known as the Door to Hell), which is located in the middle of the Karakum Desert (270KM), to camp for the night. Your sleeping bag, pillow, and tent will be provided

After a simple breakfast, you will be transferred to Ashgabat (280 KM), which is the capital of Turkmenistan. On the way, you will stop near the community of Erbent, which consists of single-story buildings and yurts. You can admire the golden sand dunes that stretch out to the horizon before you reach Ashgabat. The rest of the day is free for you to explore Ashgabat.

Overnight at the hotel. 

Breakfast. Ashgabat is a city with white marble buildings and grandiose national monuments. You will visit some of Turkmenistan's landmarks: The Gypjak Mosque, the Ashgabat National Museum of History, the Arch of Neutrality, and Independence Park.

After lunch, you will be driven out of the city to visit an archaeological site, the Parthian Settlement of Nisa (21KM) and learn more about the history of Turkmenistan.

Overnight at the hotel. 

Breakfast. Drive to Airport for flight back home.
