The citizens of India, Pakistani, Bangladesh, and Sri-Lanka are eligible to apply Kyrgyz E-visa along with Invitation Letter from accredited travel agency of Kyrgyz Republic.

To apply Kyrgyz E-visa means that you are no longer required to pay a visit to the nearest embassy to apply for your travel document. Instead, you can apply Kyrgyz E-visa online, and Kyrgyz Guided Tours can facilitate the process for you.

Son-Kul Lake, located at an altitude of 3,016 meters in the Tien Shan Mountains, offers an unforgettable adventure through untouched nature. This pristine alpine lake is surrounded by open meadows, hidden valleys, and stunning landscapes. The journey to Son-Kul Lake takes you on a horseback riding tour, starting from Shamshy Gorge, where you traverse lush forests of fir trees, cross rivers, and camp under the stars. Along the way, meet shepherds and nomads, gaining insight into their unique traditions and way of life. Son-Kul Lake is an ideal destination for those seeking tranquility, breathtaking scenery, and a taste of nomadic culture.

Itinerary

Bishkek – Shamshy Gorge (120 km, 2 hrs.).
Breakfast. Transfer to Smashy Gorge. On the way excursion to Burana Tower (X-XI cen.). Then continue drive to Shamshy gorge. Lunch in Yurt Inn. Afternoon walking in the fir-trees forest and enjoy nature. Free time. Dinner and accommodation in Yurt Inn. Meals: full board

Shamshy Gorge – Shamsy pass – 3570 m (5 hrs. horse riding)
Breakfast. Meet with horseman and guides’ team, load all the stuffs and start horseback riding towards Shamshy pass. Dinner and overnight in tents before the pass (2800m). Meals: full board

Shamshy pass- Sarala-Saz jailoo(5 hrs horse riding)
After breakfast continue tour and cross the Shamshy pass (3 570 meters). Discover the nice view of Kochkor, Shamshy valley and ride up to Sarala-Saz jailoo, which opens beautiful views of the Sandyk mountains. Meet local nomads and see local traditions and customs. View of nomad’s yurts from the top of the mountain look like Parisian’s mushrooms. Set up the tents near the nomad’s yurts in Sarala-Saz jailoo. Meals: full board

Sarala-Saz jailoo - Iri-Suu jailoo(4-5 hrs. Horse riding)
Breakfast. Horse riding towards Karakol river. Descend to Iri-Suu jailoo, and then take an evening walk over the hill into the beautiful Karakol River valley.
Dinner and overnight in tent. Meals: full board

Iri-Suu jailoo - Sook Valley (5-6 hrs. Horse riding)
After breakfast loading of the gears for a long day tour through nearly empty country. Pass over the Buchuk Pass (3400 m). On the other side, after a brief break for lunch on the trail, descend into the beautiful Sook Valley. Wild onions cover the high cold ridges, while lower down whole hillsides of wildflowers bloom. You can see eagles soar and plenty marmots in the amazing pasture. Set up the tents for dinner and overnight close to Sook River. Meals: full board

Sook Valley- Kyzart Pass (5-6 hrs. Horse riding)
Breakfast. Horseback riding to the next valley west, the Kum Bel to approach to the 3 600 m Kum Bel Pass. From the pass, follow a ridge to the peak, 3656 m above sea level, with fascinating 360 views and sheer drops to the north. After lunch descend into the Jumgal valley, and follow it down to the Kyzart Pass (2664m).
Set up the tent camp for dinner and overnight before the pass. Meals: full board

Kyzart Pass – Kilemchi (4-5 hrs horse riding)
After breakfast riding through the Kyzart Pass (2664m) and then cross Kyzyl-Kiya jailoo, an enormous, relatively flat sea of grass. Continue over the Chaar-Archa Pass (3 061 m) into the Chaar-Archa Valley. After lunch cross the river and follow the trail over hills to Kilemche Jailoo. Dinner and overnight in the tent. Meals: full board

Kilemche- Son-kol lake (4 hrs.horse riding)
After breakfast riding to Jalgyz Karagai pass (3400 m), over the Song-Kol Mountains and into the lake’s basin. The morning climb affords wonderful views of Kilemche jailoo, and the pass itself is rocky and exciting. After lunch at Jaman Echki, follow the lakeshore east to the yurt at Batai Aral. Upon arrival, meet your host family of Kyrgyz shepherds in Son-Kul Lake. Dinner and overnight are in a yurt camp. Meals: full board

Son-kol lake- Cholpon-ata(250km,5-6hrs)
Breakfast. Transfer to Cholpon-Ata, northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake via Kochkor.
On the way visit handicraft and souvenir shop in Kochkor. Lunch in Kochkor in family guesthouse. Then continue drive to Cholpon-ata town (capital of a beach resorts). Issyk-Kul Lake along the North side of the celestial Issyk Kul Lake, the second largest alpine lake in the world (1608 m). Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Meals: breakfast, lunch

Cholpon-ata –Bishkek (270km,4-5 hrs.)
Breakfast. Rest on the beach. Afternoon visit Cultural Complex “Ruh Ordo”, Petroglyphs Museum (ancient stone inscriptions (dating back to 800 B.C.). Lunch in Balykchy town. Transfer to Bishkek. Check-in to hotel.
Bishkek sightseeing tour: visit Ala-Too square, Oak tree Park, Osh bazar (open market), Open Art Gallery, Opera and Ballet Theatre, Victory square. Last moment shopping. Dinner in local restaurant. Overnight in a hotel. Meals: breakfast

  1. The offered program can be conducted from early June till late September
  2. The horse-riding program must be order in advance at least 7 days before arrival dates to Shamshy Gorge. Otherwise, we can guarantee arrangement of the horse-riding tour for such long days.
  3. Cook is providing for group more than four persons. For the smaller group up to 3 persons are provided / prepared by horseman assistant and guide-interpreter
  4. Weather in the mountain even in August is quite cold at night and it is highly recommended to have warm clothes and raincoat.
  5. Four- and Five-star accommodation in available by request. The price of the program will be change accordingly.
