Overview The World Nomad Games started in 2014, 2016, 2018 and it is held every 2 years on the shores of Lake Issy-Kul, in Cholpon-Ata town, which is the main resort area of Issyk-Kul Lake, initiated by Kyrgyz Republic government to promote nomad people culture and tradition.  Kyrgyzstan government hand overed the next World Nomad Game 2022 to Turkey and it took place in Astana, Kazakhstan 2024. The 6th World Nomad Games is returning to Kyrgyzstan in 2026. It is planned for beginning of September 2026 and it became the most must participate in world wide popular nomad’s people festival.
