Description:
The trek starts from Kara-Suu village which is the Sary-Chelek National Park’s buffer zone, flora and fauna of many kinds are found there. Sary-Chelek (“Yellow Jar” in Kyrgyz) is a gorgeous alpine lake in western Jalalabad oblast, surrounded by walnut and fruit forests and protected, at least nominally, as a UNESCO biosphere reserve. The park and area comprise river valleys and settlements which flow along a winding course through almost all the territory of the reserve, in places between steep banks, strewn with boulders forming rapid cascades and waterfalls up to 3 meters high. Glaciers and permanent ice fields and high mountain lakes lie on the north facing slopes.

Airport – Bishkek – Osh
Arrival to the international airport “Manas”. Do a custom clearance and take a domestic flight to Osh.
Arrival in Osh. Check-in the Hotel. Rest. Lunch in a local restaurant.
Short sightseeing in Osh: Sulaiman Mountain, Museum, Osh market.
Dinner in a local restaurant. Accommodation at the hotel. Meals: lunch, dinner.
Osh – Kara Suu village, 300 km
Breakfast. Transfer to Kara Suu village, 5 hours. Lunch in a local restaurant.
Explore the local traditions and customs.
Dinner and overnight in a family guesthouse.

Kara Suu village – Karakamysh Lake
Breakfast. Setting off northwards from Kara-Suu to the Kara-Suu Gorge, along the banks of the Kara-Suu River, crossing by wooden bridges as necessary. The gorge becomes rather narrow, and the slopes are covered with a beautiful silver fir forest. Further on the track passes below a scenery waterfall and then climbs over a small pass to Karakamysh Lake (1,800 m, 17 km, 5-6 hours). Dinner and overnight in a Yurt Inn. Meals: full board
Kara Suu Lake – Makmal Pass – Iri Kol Lake
Breakfast, then continue the trek along the Kara-Suu River where the slopes of the mountains are covered with silver fir forests. The stony road winds through inhabited jailoos (mountain pastures) where you stop for lunch below the Makmal Pass. After lunch you cross the Makmal Pass (2700m) and descend into the Kojo-Ata River valley and on to Iri Kol Lake where you will have dinner and camp overnight in tents camp on altitude 2400m.

Iri Kol Lake – Sary Chelek Lake South
Breakfast, followed by crossing the Ashuu Pass (2600m) where you are surrounded by fir forests and have a panoramic view of the infinite ridges of the Tien-Shan Mountains stretching to the far horizon and beyond. During the descent from the pass, you will have lunch and then continue down through the Ashuu Gorge to the bottom part of Sary-Chelek Lake where you will have dinner and camp overnight in tents (25 km, 6 hours). Meals: full board
5 small lakes in Sary Chelek Lake
Breakfast followed by a sort of excursion to the 5 small lakes of Sary-Chelek (10km, 2,5 hours) till noon. Picnic lunch. Afternoon you can rent a motorboat and explore the whole lake on motorboat.
Dinner and overnight stay in a tent camp. Meals: full board
Sary Chelek Lake – Arkyt village
Breakfast. Trekking through the fir forests enjoying the panoramic views on the way to Arkyt and descending to Arkyt village. Picnic lunch.
Afternoon reach the local family Guest House. Dinner and accommodation in Family Guest House. Meals: full board
Artyk village – Osh Airport – Bishkek
Breakfast. Transfer to Osh airport, 5 hours. Lunch in a local restaurant.
Evening domestic flight to Bishkek.
Arrival in Bishkek, transfer to the Hotel. Dinner at the local restaurant in Bishkek.
Accommodation at the Hotel. Meals: full board
Ala – Archa Nature Park – Bishkek City tour
Breakfast.
Drive to the “AlaArcha National Park”. It is an alpine national park in the Tian Shan Mountains of Kyrgyzstan, established in 1976 and located approximately 40 km south of the capital city of Bishkek. The Nature Park is a popular destination point for weekend travelers, hikers, horse trekkers, skiers as well as mountain climbers looking for challenging ice, rock and mixed routes. Back to Bishkek at noon.

Afternoon Bishkek city tour: Manas Monument, the main national hero of the Kyrgyz people, Ala Too Square to watch ceremony of changing of the Guard of Honor, White Central Mosque, Old Square with Parliament House, Second world war with eternal flame. Osh bazar (open market)
