Kyrgyzstan is 94% mountainous, so just about everywhere you look, You face a new breathtaking alpine vista. The climate continental, warm summers, cold winters, lots of sun, and huge temperature gradients. The snowpack is most volatile in March, and shallowest in December/early January. Late January-February and April are the ideal months for hitting the backcountry.
Brief description:
This 15 days-long Ski Tour takes in some of the most beautiful scenery in Kyrgyzstan -the world’s second largest alpine Lake Issyk-Kul, mountain ranges and alpine peaks. You will have the opportunity to discover the natural areas of Terskey Ala-Too, to get an epic view of the highest points in the Terskey Ala Too range, combining with horseback riding, hot springs, snow mobile and an epic Yurt staying. The tour begins and ends with the opportunity to visit some of Kyrgyzstan’s finest cultural and historical sights. Our Kyrgyzstan Destinations Team Pro Riders combined all this activities in the best places of Kyrgyzstan, so our customer’s can enjoy the Epic Skiing and the Kyrgyz Culture.

3, 4 | Suusamyr Ski Base Breakfast at base camp. These days we will do Ski Touring and exploring local mountain areas. Lunch boxes with us. Dinner & lodging at base camp. | Ski Lodge |
5 | Suusamyr – Bishkek (120km), 1,5 hours Breakfast. Transfer to Bishkek, lunch en-route café, Russian bania (sauna), Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at Hotel. | Hotel 3* |
6 | Bishkek – Tokmok – Karakol (400km), 5-6 hours Breakfast. Transfer to Karakol Town, on the way visit 12th century Tower Burana. Lunch en-route café, check in Karakols guest house. Dinner at local restaurant, overnight in a guest house. | Guest House |
7 | Karakol – Boz Uchuk Village (50km), 1 hour. Breakfast. Transfer to Boz Uchuk village for horseback riding, meet with the horse man and start to lift on a horses to the skiing point. Lunch box. 13 | Jyrgalan – Karakol – Oruktu Hot Springs (170km), 2 hours. Breakfast. Transfer to Karakol town, lunch at café. Then drive to Oruktu hot springs (100km). Transfer to Cholpon Ata Town. Dinner & overnight in a Guest House | Guest House |

Participants must have their equipment such as backpacks, desirable to have a personal sleeping bag, warm clothes, skies (fat skies), skins, beacons, shovel etc. (The whole structure of personal equipment)

Participants must be in good physical condition, at least AST 1,2 level. The differences of heights range from 600 m to 1000 m in vertical elevation. The maximum elevation is 4000 .
