Overview

Yukhin Peak is located in the northern spurs of the Trans-Alay Range, near the great Lenin Peak (7,134 m). The ascent follows a classic trail without steep rock or ice sections, making it accessible to experienced trekkers but without any special mountaineering training.

From the summit, panoramic views of the North Face of Lenin Peak, the snow-capped peaks of the Trans-Alay Range, and the endless Alay Valley open up.

This tour is an excellent chance to test your strength at an altitude of over 5,000 meters, enjoy the mountain scenery, and experience the atmosphere of true mountaineering adventure.

Itinerary

Upon arrival at Osh airport, after collecting your baggage and clearing customs, you will be met by an Ak-Sai Travel guide. He will provide you with all the necessary documents and permits for the climb.

You will then enjoy a scenic transfer to the Achyk-Tash Base Camp, located at the foot of the majestic Lenin Peak. On the way there will be a stop for lunch with a local family.

In the evening – dinner and overnight at the camp.

Today we will make an acclimatization hike – climb the ridge of the neighboring Petrovsky Peak (4200 m). From its top you will have a breathtaking panorama of the valley and the Achik-Tash tract.

If you wish, you can spend the day at the camp – relax, prepare your equipment and gather strength for the next stage. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

After breakfast we will hike over the Traveler’s pass (4150 m) to Camp 1. The climb to the pass usually takes 1-1,5 hours on a good trail.

The pass offers impressive views of Lenin Peak and the Lenin Glacier. Sometimes snowdrifts can be seen on the pass, adding a special atmosphere to the trip.

Next we descend to the left moraine of the glacier, where we have another 3 hours of climbing ahead of us. On the way we will have to cross a mountain stream carefully, then continue along the left moraine until we reach Camp 1.

In the evening – dinner and rest in the tents of Camp 1.

Today is one of the highlights of the trip. We are climbing Yukhin Peak (5130 m). The classic route does not involve climbing steep rocks or ice, so it does not require special equipment or extensive experience.

From the summit, an impressive panorama opens up: the majestic northern wall of Lenin Peak and the wide Alay Valley spread out at your feet.

After a day full of spectacular views, we return to Camp 1 to rest and prepare for the next adventures. In the evening, we have dinner and spend the night in tents at Camp 1.

After breakfast, we head back to the familiar Achyk-Tash Base Camp. There is a short climb, followed by about four hours of continuous descent along picturesque trails. Upon returning to camp, we will enjoy a pleasant rest and the opportunity to take a shower – a great way to freshen up after a busy day.

In the evening there will be a festive dinner to celebrate the successful completion of the route.

We say goodbye to the mountains and head back to Osh.

On the way we will have lunch in the form of lunch boxes. Upon arrival we will check into the hotel. The rest of the time can be spent exploring the city, visiting the bazaar or simply relaxing.

Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Early in the morning you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home. This concludes the tour.
