The Jeti-Oguz Gorge Yurt Inn is located about 35 km to the west from the town of Karakol, southern Issyk-Kul Lake at the altitude of 2300 m.
Jety Ogus means the Rock of Seven Bulls from the Kyrgyz language which is located on on the Northern slope of the mountain Terskey Ala-Too. A local landmark is the rock “Broken Heart” where the lovers are always photographed. The Gorge passes into the wide Kek-Jaiyk pasture (land of flowers) which is covered with firs tree forests up to the mountain peaks. There are magnificent sub-Alpine and Alpine meadows - pasture (jailoos) – above the forest zone (3000 m). In spring and summer there is a real feast of flowers in the Jety-Oguz Gorge, among these flowers there are the silver starlets of edelweiss, Alpine chamomiles and asters, elecampane (golden root). The rivers the Archa-Tor and the Ailynash, which form the river Jety-Oguz, originate from the northern slopes of the peaks Karakol and Oguz-Bashy.
